On December 21 in Stepanakert took place charity event, initiated by midfielder of Armenia national team and Shakhtar Donetsk Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian delegation led by the FFA President Ruben Hayrapetyan, which included Henrikh and a member of the FFA executive committee Viktor Dallakyan visited Stepanakert, where Henrikh gave gifts to the families of fallen soldiers.
In the capital of NKR, FFA president, Viktor Dallakyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were received by President Bako Sahakyan. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Defence Minister of the NKR, the president of the Football Federation of the NKR, the head of Union Veterans of the Karabakh War, Hero of Artsakh Samvel Karapetyan.
Then the meeting was hold in the office of Union Veterans of the Karabakh war. In his speech, Mr. Karapetyan expressed his deep gratitude to the head of football federation of Armenia and Henrikh for organizing and holding such shares, and expressed hope that cooperation between the Football Federation of FFA and NKR will become closer.
Mr. Karapetyan praised the contributions of Henry Mkhitaryan and awarded him the Order of “Defender of the Fatherland.”
On the question of the media about how it was perceived by the desire of Henry, FFA President Ruben Hayrapetyan said: “When I heard about his desire, I was excited and happy. This year, I had two reasons for such a joy.
